About Our Optometrist
Dr. Purushottam Dhungana has more than 12 years of experience as an eye care provider, health educator and consultant in eye wear. He has his special interest in contact lenses and ophthalmic dispensing.
He is one of the most experienced Optometrist practicing in Nepal. He has been working as a chief optometrist with Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology for last 9 years.
Bachelor of Optometry (B. Optom):
His Optometry carrier started at BP koirala Lions Centre for Ophthalmic Studies(BPKLCOS).Tribhucan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), Maharajgunj Campus, Tribhuvan University (TU). At this institution he was awarded with the degree of Bachelor of Optometry.
Doctor of Optometry (OD):
This degree was awarded by School of Optometry, South western University (SWU), Cebu City, Phillipines
Fellowship In Low Vision Care (FLVC):
Dr. Dhungana has done Fellowship in Low Vision Care from LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad india.
